“HEKS rollt” (HEKS on wheels) comprises two different bicycle schemes on Lake Zurich, which help the unemployed to have a meaningful structure to their days. Project participants are given the opportunity to do a job independently and to plan their return to work. In Wädenswil they service and hire out bicycles, whilst in Thalwil and Gattikon bicycle couriers take shopping home by e-bike. HEKS rollt is aimed at recipients of social welfare, recognised refugees, people in receipt of a temporary residence permit and asylum seekers.
